Garden Club - Wednesday, September 20th:
- After some really wonderful garden visits this year we finally come to the last trip of the gardening season. Lucky for us Anna and Paulie are neighbours both living in East York.
- Anna Leggatt – green roof, rock garden, troughs, sand bed, woodland bed, scree, pond waterfall, bogs, alpine house, parterre, tufa bed, hot area, Japanese features, statues and ornaments, clematis, spring bulbs, perennials, Ontario native plants, unusual annuals, rhododendrons.
- Paulie Marmina – reminds us that September brings a mainly green garden filled with a great selection of trees and shrubs. However, we will experience a wonderful display of colour on the decks - a perfect example of a shade garden in the fall.
- Lunch will be at a popular venue we visited last year - Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill.
